touch screen helllllllppppppp!!!!!

part of my touch screen doesn't work. i can click everywhere but this one section where a lot of 'sign in' buttons are located. (i know this is silly, but i can't log into twitter because i can't click sign in) is there a way to click on this area in an alternative way, or is there a way to fix this. I didn't a factory reset, and have taken the battery out multiple times.... because its a droidx2 and likes to freak out and be douchey sometimes. BUTTTT this whole area not functioning this is getting annoying!!!

The hardware might be going as it is a pretty old phone (also if you dropped it that of course doesn't help). You may have to try a factory reset to try and remedy it
