If you remember clearly, Steve Jobs made a big announcement about the Retina display on the iPhone 4 last year at WWDC, well Toshiba has something even better for you today. The latest display coming out their labs in Japan is supposedly taking the crown from the iPhone 4 as the king of pixel density by destroys the iPhone’s 326 ppi with an even better 367 ppi while still having a big screen. This display is, un-doubtable, made to one up Apple’s bad boy phone’s screen and is apparently distended for Android phones by the end of the year. This means you won’t have the put your face closer to the phone just to see things like you would on a 3.5 inch screen, rather, you can have better graphics on an improved and large screen.

nice. Now let's see if they throw good hardware behind it and make it the baddest phone on the market like it can be, or if they give it mediocre components which is what I assume they will do

So what does the pixel density look like on the new higher resolution screen like in the X2? They are the same resolution IIRC, so if its simply less dense because of screen area...then that's retarded and pixel density means nothing to me.

 distended? Ewww.... I had that happen to me once after I ate some bad Mexican food.

I appreciate the work you are putting in to these stories, hombre, but if you're going to be writing these little snippets for the front page of the forum, someone should help you edit.
