Anyone have an idea what folders the old backup files are in? I have backups from a couple of months ago and would like to erase all the old files and do a completely new backup that is more current.

I'm pretty sure they are located on th SD card. Moved here for further response. This question is not Samsung specific.

I thimble most of them are on the sd card under the folder named titanium backup. Just looking for some confirmation to empty that folder and redo my backup from new.

They are stored in the TitaniumBackUp folder on the SD card.If you do a new backup, it should update what's already there. You shouldn't need to delete anything...At least that's how I understand it to work..

EDIT: If you have the free version that's how it works. If your using the paid app, you have the option of creating multiple backups of the same app.

I am with you there. The problem is that I have about a zillion other files and apps that I no longer use that are backed up there too. Figured it would be easier to empty everything and start anew.

You actually don't need to

Hi:
I don't believe you actually need to look up the file, as Titanium Backup never asks you which file you want to restore from.
If you no longer use the apps and you have deleted them, go into Backup/Restore from Titanium Backup, hit batch and stroll all the way down. There is a command there that says "Delete backups for un-installed apps".
Run that, and your backup file will be updated by TB.
You will see the difference in the number of apps you can now restore.

Hope this helps.

I just ended up going to the titanium backup folder on my sd card and then deleted all the stuff in the folder. From there I performed a new backup and all was clean and good. Just like new.
