Titanium backup and Sense

Is it possible to use titanium backup to freeze [DESKTOP] HTC Sense 2.00 without breaking something that can't be fixed? I'm using Launcher Pro Plus and would like to freeze or uninstall everything I possibly can to preserve battery life.

HTC Sense shouldn't be using any battery if launcher pro is in use

I'm lucky to get 3 hours on standby. Trying to figure out WTH is going on. I just rooted the thing, so I'm going through and getting rid of everything I can. Hopefully it'll come around at least a little.
