Tim Cook trashes OLED displays

Tim Cook says OLED Displays are awful. My last two Phones(S3, OG Razr) featured AMOLED displays. Razr not so good, S3 is much better; neither were awful. I have to admit I prefer IPS overall.Even with the tiny screen my wife's iPhone looks better when viewing pictures. However, AMOLED blacks are great for Netflix. Do you think Tim Cook was being objective or was this a not so inconspicuous jab at Samsung?
