Thunderbolt gingerbread

Is there a eta for when the thunderbolt will get this. If its a long time I might as well root now. And try a Rom with it

A gingerbread update is expected for the Evo 4G and the Thunderbolt before the end of June 2011. For the record, my Thunderbolt is rooted and I love the control it gives me. You should consider it if and only if you know what you're doing and you don't mind voiding your warranty.
