I'll admit it, I'm pretty disappointed. I upgraded from droid 1 to droid X because I had read on BD's forums that he was working on a DX rom that would be incredible. I bought into and donated to the early releases and nightly builds, which came into existence the week that BD was supposedly releasing a full DX rom. I tested out the beta build that he put up and OMG was that thing incredible. It was the fastest ROM I've used on my DX to date and I was giddy with the idea that this was just the beginning. That was months ago, and there hasn't been an official release since.

I realize that developers do what they do for little/no money and I'm not saying that I feel BD or any other developer is a bad person because they don't release everything they claim they are working on, but I was disappointed with the lack of a real BD Rom for DX simply cause it was the best Rom on D1 and the beta release was amazing.

yea i agree that im not mad at him or anything, i just wish there was atleast some communication if there was going to be anything coming out at all, instead of us just waiting around for nothing

The droidx build environment was merged into cyanogenmod's github by cvpcs.... you can probably expect a release by ud now.

You sir, are a crock. Any half devoted homebrewer would have compiled their own UDX with the gps and camcorder fixed by now. Heck, its just a matter of borrowing from another ROM, right?
In all seriousness, you sound like one of those spoiled 4 year olds that cries about not getting what they wanted, when they wanted it. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see an official build. But the notion that you deserve anything is crock. These devs put in numerous WEEKS to produce the excellent ROMs we flash in five minutes. All I can say is be grateful for what you have; and personally, were I BD and saw this thread- I'd say screw you and stop developing altogether.

Ya dude totally agreed. Dude who started this dumb thread.. Dude I wanna see you go and dev thia up if youre so smart. Once you crack the loader and make an actual custom rom then u can say something. But you cant so dont even talk. Just deal with the wait. Ive had to go thru the SAME thing when the ipod touch 2g was first being worked on. I waited a good 9 months.. (may have been like 6-7 but I digress) to get a jailbreak. I tested out the initial jailbreaks that actually required you to input code into command line. And I didnt complain or whine. I took the waiting and understood that the devs were putting countess hours into the project. No doubt the devs here are doing the same. So until u can come up with some sort of solution to our waiting, keep your childish ranting to yourself.

La la la, you suckers keep on waitin, and wake up. 4g is here and this will never get finished, id rather pay a hundred bux for a rom than wait another six months for nothing. Time isnt free, get with it or get out. Ive already ordered a tbunderbilt, get a paycheck
