Stand by or not... I've never gotten battery life like that on any phone. I'm still at 38%. Imo, you really can't beat that.

I shut down all automatic syncing. When I want something updated, I do it manually. I keep my screen brightness down. That is the best I've ever gotten but I think that is because I just stopped using Go Launcher last week. I also use wifi for the most part but I did use 4g for hour or so. What you see is moderate use. Email, games, surfing the web, and of course playing in DF. ilovedf

I keep brightness at 40% and turn GPS off, pretty much everything else is going strong. 4G when not on wifi, sync upon refresh except emails etc etc


On average, combining many combinations of heavy/light/moderate use, I lose about 5% per hour.

I am getting an average of about 18 to 20 hours on my phone. I am extremely happy with having to recharge every other day.

You can get apps that need "superuser" access. You can modify apps, you can get custom software, you can make your phone run more smoothly, you can change boot screens, get better battery life...the possibilities are endless! Haha

It means that you have total control over your phone. For example right now you can't delete pre-installed software however you can erase EVERYTHING on your computer. That is akin to super user permission. You can do a lot of extra customizing by rooting but you can also royally mess up your phone if you don't know what you are doing. For me, right now I don't have a reason to root so I don't. My phone does everything that I want it to do.
