Thinking of taking the plunge

Ive never rooted any phone before but I think I want to root my Tbolt. I want to run BAMF. I've watched a couple youtube videos on how to to do it and it doesn't seem too bad. Do I need to root my phone separately and then add BAMF or is adding BAMF the same as rooting my phone? Thanks.

im finally rooted and running bamf 1.0.5. do i need to install and run each rom leading up to 1.0.9 or can i just go ahead and flash that?

Congrats tnhockey! As far as flashing ROMS, unless it's stated by the dev depending on build number etc. You don't need to flash the earlier versions. You can flash the current build.

Be sure to make a backup before going from one ROM to another.
