Thinking about buying a OG off of ebay. But concerned about low RAM.

So I have a D2G and DX2 and I love the look of the OG Droid. Id like something cheap and that is good to play around with hacking and roms. So my first thought is OG Droid! I heard there was a sense port which is pretty cool and tons of good roms but my only concern is the fact that it only has 256mb's of ram. Is this problem for people?

Sense port by jamzelle is not stable for daily use and has not been updated in a very long time. The only rom other than Cyanogen that has been updated regularly are Pete's GPA Roms, and MIUI.

The low memory will prevent you from running any gingerbread rom 100%. They are close to stable, but not stable enough to really own a "Stable" or "Final" tag.


For a froyo rom, your all good.
