Ok, This is my favorite theme for the fascinate, so after waiting patiently for BigLoof to port it I realized he was just to busy to do it. I asked BigLoof if he would mind if I ported this theme to ComRom 1.3 and he said Go For it! So with BigLoofs blessing I present Steel Blue 1.75

I have not encountered 1 problem or force close that wasnt present in comm rom already. ALSO Some images I needed were not present in BigLoofs Last port and I had to make them myself. Let's just say im no BigLoof! When BigLoof finds the time to update his thread, this thread will be abandoned!

However, I have tried flashing it in recovery several times and it still will NOT take. Any suggestions?





Never mind. Discovered I now have choices. Just press and hold in the text box and choose input method. There I found Gingerbred.

Hey guys; I discovered/created a MAJOR glitch with my Samsung Fascinate with This new update. I'm hoping you all fine folks here might be willing to lend me a hand.

Just to clarify, I know enough to be dangerous, but not proficient enough to, "keep up with the lingo", as it were.

I will try to explain what i did to discover this problem.

The problem seems to worsen with each boot as I begin to loose control.

I then force close and choose 'Launcher'

My contact icon has changed and now says, "Application is not installed on your phone."

1 of my apps (aCar) requires me to provide a paid key (after I had done this several days ago) to gain access saved data.

Facebook has No Content (no service.)

I can go on...

I decided to re-install the ROM with these directions.


Booted to CWM (Red)
2) Installed/flashed ComRom1.3Test2 from SD Card.
3) Then installed/flashed OTB1.3 from SD Card
4) Reboot (New theme~Looks Good!)
5) Then it automatically powered down and booted to CWM Red again
6) Installed/flashed (ComRomGoS2_SteelBluev1.75.zip)
7) Reboot. It loaded up to main screen, seem to freeze, then performed a quick reboot.


It seemed to work. I'll leave it as is until I retrace my steps here on this thread. Maybe one of you here can see if I was in error, or if I stumbled over a glitch. Maybe it can be looked into...?

Until then, I'll leave the Blue Steel Theme uninstalled.
