or something completely new and sleek. Something sophisticated that screams formal. not many of those around anymore.

How the heck do you change the 3G up/down and signal bars with a GB rom? I noticed it is now a bit different and shows green or white sometimes. Simply adding the old pictures to the framework doesn't override anything.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

They're in SystemUI.apk and they have a 2nd png with a different name added to it...

You don't unzip. Install it like you would a ROM in recovery.
