What if I told you that there is a phone coming out with a 4.7 inch quad hd display, 4000 mAh battery, 2.5 GHZ Snapdragon 810 CPU, 4 GB of Ram, and a 16 Mp front and rear facing camera?

You would probably start saving up your money now and trying to guess which company will be making it it (Motorola, HTC, Samsung). But this smartphone is not being made by a big name company in fact it is being made by a crowdfunding project.

Yup you heard me right, the Comet Smartphone is a crowdfunded device. So you can put your money back in your wallet as this device with retracting fins is too good to be true. But hey anyone can dream, I just want to see the dream in hand before I will pull out my wallet.

When I wrote this article back in June it was meant in a sarcastic way because of the info (specs) put out at that time. Now I must admit I am intrigued. Would not be my daily driver but certainly will be my go to phone for pool parties.

Not a bad idea. I mean we all hate the initial shock of jumping into a cold pool. Drop the phone in first for a few mins then you jump in.

I believe my S5 can swim too, not that I'm going to test it in my pool...
