Thank you for your service. We honor those who served our country. Feel free to share about your service whether it be in the form of pictures or just something about the branch and/or unit you have served.
Thanks to @pc747 for starting a thread like this every year as we get close to Veterans Day (or Armistice Day depending on where you live). And thank you to the whole admin / moderator team for allowing us to have a thread like this on a Tech & Android forum. It's awesome to be able to take a quick break from tech talk and say thanks to the brave men & women who have defended our freedom, our rights and our great Country.
Thank you to all that are serving, have served or are a family member of a Veteran!
As others have stated I consider it an honor and a privilege to have served this great Country and all that the flag represents. US Army '87 - '07. All gave some. Some gave all.
I work as a manager at the Central Issue Facility (CIF) on Fort Drum, NY so I get to interact with the soldiers everyday. I say it as often as I can at work and I will say it here...thank you for your service and all you do for our country. This goes for past and present service members. My dad is a 92 year old WW2 vet so I have always had the utmost respect for our military forces.
Thanks to you too @kixfan Many folks don't realize how much logistics is involved in running a Military post every day. It takes a dedicated support staff to make sure our Troops have the best equipment possible, and all other logistics aspects. [emoji106]
