texts not sending

I occasionally get texts which are "stuck" and will not send. It requires a reboot to send the text and receive any which were sent while "stuck".

I'm using UD 3.5.0, but it has happened with other other UD, BB, and stock roms.

Anyone have any idea?

Yeah, good news, I think I have your problem solved.

Are you using stock messaging, or handcent? If stock, go to handcent, if not read on.

Go to settings>applications>manage applications>your texting app
Clear data, clear cache.
Uninstall.
Power off, battery pull, then boot back up.
Reinstall.
