Texts not sending

Ok, I have the dinc 2, through Verizon, and 2 of my friends have Iphones (3g and 4gs) through ATT. The last few days my texts haven't been going through, or take an hour to send. It works for a short while if I turn off my phone and turn it back on. But I have to do that a few times a day. It's really annoying? Anyone else have this problem? How do I fix it?

Try sending a text to a non-iOS phone. My friend is having trouble with his iOS5 Iphone at the moment. Could be a iOS5 issue.
