texts come in as [page]

I'm with Metro PCS. I send a text from my Samsung Galaxy J7 to my husbands phone (flip phone). It shows on preview screen fine. He opens the text, all that shows is [page]. This issue just started last week. We had no problems previously. HELP!

When the message is opened, my phone number is followed by the comment [PAGE]. Instead of the message I sent. Then the message says the usual Received. And then the date.

The phone I'm sending from is a Metro pcs Samsung Galaxy J7. The receiving phone is Verizon flip phone

Have you contacted your carrier and explained the issue?

That's my next move. I thought I'd try this avenue first. My son has the same phone and carrier as I do, which would be the sending phone. His texts come through just fine. We've come to the conclusion it's my phone

I plan to contact Metro Pcs tomorrow if I can't find anything on line.

I was hoping it had to do with some obscure setting on my phone.

I'm thinking it's either the network or the phone. If you send a text to someone else and they receive it ok.. that will rule your phone out...

All my other texts go through fine. Oddly enough, my texts are the only ones my husband's old phone has a problem with. Frustrating
