First off i would liek to say HI!! and that this is my first post.

I just got my Droid 2 a few weeks ago and i like it alot except for a few things and im hopping someone here can help me.

First:
When i recive a text from someone that has a picture with sound and text the way the phone shows it is. Sound first them picture and then text. Now the picture and text dont stay up for long, its like its playing it all in sep[rite video files. How can i get the phone to play the sound show the pict and text all at one time?

Second:
Some times when i unlock the phone the screen will be flipped and i can not get it back to nomal unless i open the keyboard and alot of times that does not work. How can i get the screen to flip with the phone movment?

Thired(and last for this post at least,LOL):
Is there a way to always get the phone to go back to the home page when im done using it? For example, when i eather reseve or send a text or call and im done with it I will but the phone to sleep. When i wake it up again it shows the last thing that i was doing and say i make a phone call and when im done i hit the home page button to go home. Then when i go to make another call its will be on the last 1 i did and i have to hit the back arrow to get where i want.

I am sorry for the long post.

Thanks,

Can't help you with 1 or 3.

2. Unless you're using a 3rd party launcher such as launcher pro or adw, the Droid 2 home screen does not turn landscape unless the keyboard is out.
It does rotate in most apps.
Make sure you have the auto rotate box checked. Menu - settings - display.

Thx for the reply. I am not using any 3rd party apps and it is set to auto rotate. This evens happens with the keyboard closed. Even if im using the keyboard after texting or web and i close the keyboard it sometimes takes for ever to rotate back to normal.

I have the same issue with my Droid X.

"When i recive a text from someone that has a picture with sound and text" Do you literally mean you have a contact that has a picture and the picture has sound and text?
When I get a text notification while the phone is sleeping, first the phone lights up, then I hear the alert sound. The actual text box comes up and the picture is in that box along with the message. If I want to make a long response (more than one line) I x the notification box or "quick reply box" off and open the text app from the notification area so I can see what I am typing on the second line on.

The third questions answer is not that I know of. When I am done with anything text, email, or app. I hit the home button. Then turn off the phone. It is easy once you make it a habit. Also when exiting an app, I hit the menu key to see if there is an option to Close or Exit the app. If so, then the phone goes back to home screen.
