text while in call

OK, on the Droid can you read an incoming text message while you are on a phone call? Friend is with sprint and she can read a text while having a phone conversation. Can we do this? if so how? I cant figure it out

Yes...you can read incoming texts...just can't send until you've completed the call.

I've been able to send and recieve texts with my Droid while on a call no WIFI.

No need for any wifi or 3g to send sms text but picture message is different
