Text pics from Sprint user coming as vids

They used to come across as pictures. But the last couple weeks, whenever I get a pic from a Sprint user, they come across as 5 second videos. This is quite annoying since they seem to close before I can pause so I can actually look at them. Plus, I can't save them. Anyone know why or if there is some setting I can change to make them display correctly?

Oh, I have a Droid from Verizon. I have gotten pics from other Verizon users just fine. So far, it's just Sprint that I'm having problems with.
