Text Msgs. ....GONE!! POOF GONE!! WTF??

I was JUST using my incredible and then I get a reply from a text I had sent and it shows its the ONLY text I've sent!! All my previous threads are GONE!!! WHAT HAPPENED???

Has happened to my Incredible 3 times already. Called HTC and Verizon both and all I got from either of them is Verizon told me they contacted HTC about the problem and have gotten no answer. It's a big pain in the you know what because it even deleted all the txts I has locked. Very big problem and nobody seems to have an answer.

Yea, I called verizon this mornin' and the rep I got said he had never heard of this problem, I call bs, so he advised me to take it to a tech store in Memphis and let them look at it. It's not gonna do anything I bet! I had over 2500 texts!!!

If you don't want to lose any data, BACK IT UP. I use MyBackup Pro app and got it scheduled to backup every night.

Has happened to a few times. Looks like some hidden limit that once hit just wipes all the msgs.

I personally use SMS Backup +
SMS Backup + - Android app on AppBrain
It just makes a copy of everything to your gmail...
