OH, sorry that won't work either..they don't have droids.
Yep 2 daughters. Need to monitor texts. Anyone know how, from my Droid of course.
I believe we have gotten off topic here.
We might need to add this subject to the list of things not to be discussed on the Forum.

I was just thinking that I've seen this at least a few other times and I know at least once for sure where the thread ended in suspended accounts and was closed... it's as volatile as politics (and essentially is political in nature).

I think it's much more volatile than politics, more like Nitroglycerin because it involves morality and ethics directly. =-/
It's time for me to jump in here. I am a parent, I have 5 lines on the account, one is my 15 yr. old, my wife, and my daughter and her husband. My daughter and her husband pay their chunk of the bill, so I don't give two craps what their texting content are. My 15 yr. old loves to text, he doesn't pay the bill, he lives under our roof, and he knows that at any time he is subject to random reading of his text messages if he leaves his phone laying around. He also knows the other option is to have text messaging blocked. So, as long as he's on his toes and deletes his inbox/outbox he is fine. Once he gets a job, pays room and board, gets his own car and insurance, and wants to stay on our plan, then random text message searches stop. It is called being a parent. We're the meanest, most rotten people in the world, and we set rules and guidelines. The O.P. is not out of line, and I applaud him and others who posted similar responses.I think just the thought of doing this is just sick. Conversations between people shouldn't ever, ever be monitored by anyone unless it's matters of national security. If you think you're having a hard time trusting them, just wait till they find out that your spying on them. Good luck ever getting them to trust YOU.
If my parents did this to me I'd disown them completely. Not because I have anything to hide, but it's my business is MY business, and as a teen they deserve this right IMO. My parents ALWAYS respected my personal life and because of this I'm much closer to them.
not sure how that off topic but off you feel like your kids are doing something that there not suppose to be doing them this will work....i have a14 year old daughter..you have to have some trust in them but it is good to check on them every now and then to make sure there not doing stuff that they should not be doing...also a quick way to check there text is just by saying let me see your phoneIm not sure about how to monitor there text but if you get the app called phone my pc you can watch everything they do on the computer....works great
Whoaaaaa.....
That was way off topic.....lol
