Text Messaging Problems

On the line for "TO" it will not recognize all of my contacts,just very few of them. To send a text I have to look up number from contacts, write it down and inset on "TO" line. Pain in the rear end. No help from Verizon store. I do not have facebook, or multiple email addresses to conflict with this. Any help appreciated.

The only thing I can come up with is that you do not have the phone numbers entered correctly. The Default messaging application does not "recognize" (display) any contact that doesn't have a mobile number associated with it. If you put the numbers under "Home" or "business" it assumes they are landlines and does not allow you to send a text to them.

u r correct i was havin that same problem till i went in and looked and sure enuff the numbers where under home lol

If you have them in the wrong location, then you will need to change them manually for each number.
