text messages issues

I have a DNA and wondered if anyone else has the annoying text message issue I'm having. When I open the text message app that's HTC built in it takes a very very long time for the name's to show up for each text message thread. It works ok if you only have a couple threads but that's not reasonable. Is there a way to fix maybe?

The phone number is displayed for the threads first and then slowly changed to names I have set in my people contacts.

I have a similar issue. Only happens to a few of my contacts. For whatever reason, their names will only appear on initial text received and then only the phone number for the remainder of the thread. I gave up trying to figure it out. The contacts that it happens to have Iphones( other contacts with iPhones work fine), maybe the DNA doesn't like them either

Mine does the same thing. I just wait the few extra seconds.
