Text Message Indicator Light

I have a Motorola Droid running Android Version 2.2. I charge the phone in the evenings using the Multimedia Station. I use the Sound Manager App to control all my volumes. I turn my Notification Volume down in the evenings so as not to bother others.

Now… in the past, if I received a text message while the phone is in the Multimedia Station, the indicator light would aluminates. For some reason the indicator light no longer aluminates while in the Multimedia Station.
