Does anyone have an idea how to increase font size on text or e-mails?

Did you ever figure this out? I would also like to increase the text size in calendar entries.

i don't believe fonts can be changed, at least i haven't seen an option to

This is a real bummer, at least for someone like me with fading eyesight.

Handcent will allow you to change the font and the size of texts.... nothing for E-mail but at least your texts can be tweaked

Handcent was a good idea - thanks!. It did the trick for text messages. If anyone identifies a solution for emails, calendar entries and contacts, please pass it along.
