Welcome to the forum. The article that was posted by droider goes on about memory management, nothing really to say about battery management. I personally use one, because i have apps that sometimes don't close their functions when i hit the home button, so they use up alot battery life. I use the managers to kill them so they don't eat the battery life. This is my choice, which isn't everyones.
