Which are the best. Don't want an auto kill, something simple. Using system manager now.

Great.

Only use the stock one.
Freeze apps by using your launcher. Keep power bar in home screen.
Uninstall worthless apps.
Battery time lite for battry %.
Get a car charger or keep an extra one on you for work.
