^+ that seams to be the best one as a 'stand alone' app. But if you have 'Astro File Manager' it has one built in that is just as good (if not better, it allows you to view system processes as well). Might as well use one program for multiple things:icon_ banana:
If you hit the back button to get out of the program it should close out. Home shouldn't close the program, it is like minimizing it so you can multitask.
If you really want to get into this, there are some task managers, that have a widget where it will kill all apps with a single click. I am sure you can put some applications on the ignore list. Advanced Task Manager has one if I remember right, it was the only one I have ever used and I don't have it installed anymore.
