taking widgets off

I was playing around and put 3 analog clocks widgets on my screen: How do you get them off??

Long press them and move them to the trash can - it doesn't remove the app from the phone, only the widget from the homescreen

Long press on the widget. You will see a trash can appear at the top of the screen. Drag the widget to the trash
