I have noticed my phone seems slow, choopy, and laggy. I have made no kernal changes in months, I have been using perfect system monitor. But it is a widget. I'm trying to limit my widget use of point less memory hogs for something I only check every once and a while. I don't mind widgets but i would like to to keep as much memory free as I can.

My droid is rooted with BB5 slayer 1.6 1100 and I have to run adw in persistent mode. Or it will lag forever when going home.

If you have any suggestions please let me know.
Also if this helps
I only ever have 32 Meg or less of mem available
I run executive assistant with a win amp widget, digital clock widget, and a weather bug widget.
On adw I run perfect system monitor set to 60 seconds, juice plotter, setcpu, audio manager, Harley davidson clock, clickable picture frame, astrid task, calendar.
In status bar I have wifi switch, gentle alarm, juice defender, And weather bug.

It just seems to be slow to me even over clock to 1100.

And a side note is that my battery life still sucks.

Also I just installed memfreemanager to give that a trail run.

You listed 14 Widgets. That's not "light".

I'm running lgb 1.52 with ADWex as a launcher with corcor's 1200 kernel. I have about 7 Widgets total running and my system is smooth as silk. Try removing all your Widgets then only reloading the ones you really need. Also if u have that much crap on your desktop I bet u have a bunch of apps that may or may not be as "harmless" as u think. Take a look at all your running processes and see what u can trim. Many apps are setup to run all the time or listen for events or notify u of stuff u may not really need.

ZDBox is good....lots of stuff in there like widgets and sensors and so on

Elixer has a ton of sensors and like 20 or so widgets.

Android System information has a lot too.

I noticed maps and ice never die and I have not used them in a while. If I fc them they come back. I'm looking in to others.

If they keep restarting then either delete them or use an app like autostarts to delete their start triggers. Kinda like using msconfig in windows.

I don't think Auto Tasker does anything. Get rid of it. And any other app killer you have installed. It's contributing to your issue, not helping.

Run a factory data reset out of your Privacy section.

You should be as good as new.
