Syncing Contacts w/ Facebook

I have a few contacts that don't need to have their last name displayed in the contacts list. So when I set them up in gmail contacts I just left that part out. But if I sync it with that persons's facebook page it adds their last name to the contact entry. Is there anyway to keep this from happening?

Not a huge deal but I would like if I could do this.

Nope, I have the opposite problem, and there's no way yet to fix it. Facebook takes over your contacts, and there's nothing you can do about it. Sorry -- maybe one day if we get a good FB app, but I dont see that happening.

well, i can't even get names to sync with fb as of the past 4-5 days, so who knows what the hell is going on
