switching nandroid backups between gb and froyo

I flashed the GB w/root and installed Bootstrap. Created a GB nandroid backup, and i have an original Froyo/Liberty nandroid backup. I am having trouble switching between the two (just sits at moto boot logo).

Is anyone else having this problem? Do I need to SBF back to stock, reroot and then restore a froyo backup?

the firmwares are different therefore to switch from GB to froyo you will need to sbf -> root -> then you can flash your backup. as of right now you will have to do this everytime when going from GB to froyo....not sure about the other way. Most likely you will have to flash the rooted leaked GB then restore your backup...

thanks for the confirmation; that's what I figured. GB is killing my battery somehow. switching back to liberty for a while.

In case you didn't already know, you have to now press both the volume up and volume down at the same time to get to the bootloader to flash the sbf. I was getting so pissed until i did it by accident.

I did it yesterday using the up (not volume up) key. No change there.
