Sunshine Bootloader Unlock Blocked In Droid Turbo 6.0 Update

If you had plans on Bootloader Unlocking your Droid Turbo you should do that prior to accepting the Android 6.0 update. If you have already updated your device you may be out of luck. This new update patches the Sunshine app. It is nice to see OEMs plug up security holes so this is really a good thing. Just know that if you want to mod your Droid Turbo you will need to grab the Sunshine app and get that Bootloader Unlocked before that update comes through!

Also as a side note there is an in app license purchase during the Sunshine bootloader unlock process. The app is essentially a one click all inclusive method for unlocking the bootloader. This took many bricked devices and lots of time coding to get this functional. The in app fee goes towards buying new devices for further development. Grab Sunshine at the link below.

The turbo 2 did, don't believe the og turbo has gone beyond 5.1.1

No 6.0 for the OG Droid Turbo yet.
In the news post it says "Don't get too worked up this is not an update to Marshmallow, rather this is a light update with some simple enhancements".

Oops, you're right. My bad. Well I guess one of the so-called " security patches " was relocking (closing the loophole in...), that bootloader!
