stuck at boot animation! help!

installed via ROM manager. I misread the ROM installation requirement. I thought it meant you had to back up first then do wipe data/cache. clearly you need to check both. well now it just goes into the Gummyjar boot animation and despited trying many different combinations I can't seem to get the device to boot into Clockwork so I can do a restore. Any help would be very appreciated.

Reboot phone, during boot image pull battery. Reinsert battery, restart phone. Should reboot to recovery.

tried what you said. goes right to Gummyjar boot animation after Motorola M.

Thats probably b/c you didnt bootstrap first.

You might want to look into an SBF. Try booting into the bootloader and go from there.

I have the correct SBF and RSD lite ready to go. but when do I try and make them talk with the device?

Boot into the bootloader. (power and up and the D-pad I believe)

Then you go from there. Look around for instructions on how to do this

ok, that was scary. D1 was so much easier. having these phone so locked up is like the marijuana debate.. feel my metaphor.

If I didn't want to mod my phone I'd get a clamshell..

anyway, wiped data/cache and Gummyjar booted right up. thanks guys.
