Strange advertisements

Ever since the update the other day I've been getting strange advertisements in my notification bar. They always say something "ota.push" or something and just lead me to a website with a ridiculous ad for dating or something stupid. Is it related to the update or did my phone somehow get jinxed?

It is called air push. Get the aif push detector from market.
