Hello,

I am having an issue with my bluetooth connection in the car that's just recently started. First, I'm having to manually connect, which I haven't had to do since I first paired my phone with the car. After manually connecting, a minute or so later, I get a "the process com.android. phone stopped unexpectedly and am asked for force close. Right after force closing, the bluetooth disconnects. I have not rooted my phone and rooting seems to be the only error of this kind I can find on an internet search. Any ideas how to fix this?

Thank you!

In manage apps, you will find 3 Bluetooth apps, the first one being called Bluetooth share... clear the cache, clear data, and force stop that one. Then force stop the other 2. Reboot the phone and try again... you're going to have to pair again so you know.. hope this helps

I only found two Bluetooth apps, but I have tried this on the ones that showed up. I will have to wait until later to see if this works.

Thanks so much!

Still having the same issue and I don't know how to fix it. My car used to connect to Bluetooth fine, now it connects, then disconnects with that message popping up on the phone.

in the sea. sometimes on land as well
you could use this http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-4-hacks/217849-droid-4-utility-gingerbread-only.html it is a tool with the sbf file you need for your phone
here is the link for that http://d-h.st/CMg
on your phone enable debugging mode in settings and run the tool and this will make your phone factory new
also download the phone driver too https://www.dropbox.com/c/shmodel?n...MotoHelper_2.1.40_Driver_5.5.0.exe&id=shmodel
you can go farther and get ics from there and maybe install a rom

rooting is not involved in this process.
1 backup your contacts than do a factory reset in settings
2 then you need this driver on you computer so the program will work https://www.dropbox.com/s/xnu1wj672nk8hpj/MotoHelper_2.1.40_Driver_5.5.0.exe?m
3 you hold down power and both vol keys, when menu appears use vol- to scroll and vol+ to select fastboot mode and plug the phone into the comp
4 then you use Dev-Host - Droid4 GB Only.zip - The Ultimate Free File Hosting / File Sharing Service to repair the phone so that it is stock erase data
