Stock LG Ally???

Okay so I have my Ally and its running Velocity on 2.1-update 1 and its been giving me a lot of issues + i would like to update to 2.2.2 and root. SO how can i get my Ally back to factory settings and then whats the safest way to update and root again? I'm quite experienced with these kinds of things BTW. Thanks in advance! :greendroid:

You could do a hard reset by turning your phone off, then holding the volume up,home, and power at the same time.

Or just flash Velocity 1.1, its got the same fixes as 2.2.2 and is much better than stock. You can find a link at androidforums.com
