Stock Image question

I have froyo, but i keep getting that annoying update question, so i would've just usually updated and rerooted, problem is that i deleted all the annoying bloatware, and i read somewhere that its going to be impossible to do that now, so i was going to install the stock image, update, and reroot, but it says 2.1 only. I'm already 2.2 so I'm kinda afraid of whats going to happen. any ideas on what i should do, or should i just find a list of bloatware and see if i can reinstall the .apks

yea sorry i know im a new guy, and i hate starting on threads posting help questions, but this update to 2.3.320 is getting really annoying

Nvm, figured it out, it will brick, forgot a thing called "SBF" exists for some reason, these forums are great
