Stock Android Messenger

Is there any way to get this app? I don't like the VH1 bubbles for the texts back and forth. I used to like Handcent, but it kept force closing on my Droid with Froyo, and the comments I am reading for the app says it is doing the same thing on Droid X.

I use Handcent on the X and it's fabulous. No problems at all and a billion times faster than the Droid 1 (as is everything on the X).

Yeah works for me too...

Kpiskin, 80% of complaints on this forum are BS, I'd say a good half of the complaints are coming from people who don't really have the phone...

Well, maybe I will try handcent again. I can always uninstall it if it turns out to have issues. Like I said, I started having problems with it on my Droid after I installed froyo. The comments in the market from self-reported DX owners said they had force close issues too. Thanks for responding.

As a side note I've yet to have a single Force Close on my X...now I've probably jinxed myself...

I use handcent SMS for my default messaging and I haven't had any issues with it on the DX. Hope I didnt just jinx myself.... lol

Try GoSMS. I like it better than Handcent.
