Still on old Froyo leak...

I'm still on the rooted version of the old Froyo leak. I'm getting some annoying bugs and I think it's time to update. I've searched the forums but I must be missing it, probably because it's old news now. What's the best way to get out of the leaked Froyo, updated, and then re-rooted?

Just did the maderstcok method (as posted above), and came from the original leak with root. Worked flawlessly.

Worked perfectly for me too, thanks for the advice. I managed to upgrade and reroot and re-ROM in about an hour. This forum is very helpful.

Like my new homescreen very much.
