stealth message program needed...

I don't have text enabled on my EVO from work. I want to be able to message my Wife occasionally. Is there a program that is stealth or somewhat concealed that we could both install on our phones and send messages through 3g? Any games that enable messaging besides words with friends and moco space? Please help, been through the market place like crazy..

google voice is the first one that comes to mind, but there are a few out there that use data instead of actual texts.

I'll look into google voice right now. Any that can be hidden? Not that it needs to be hidden but it would be easier in case my supervisor has my phone and. Not supposed to call or message during work hours but it's a ridiculous policy we have and it's only in place because a few other employees abused this. THANKS and if any others come to mind, please tell me.
