I was wondering if when i restore my d2g to factory settings when it makes me do the activation call since i already have the line will it mess up my service?

Activation is needed if the phone is registered on a line.

Without activation, you won't be able to place or receive calls normally.

If you already have another phone on your line, and don't need to activate the D2G, you can bypass activation.
