Speed Dial ???

Is there a speed dial setting for contacts on the Motorola Droid , if this has been addressed already sorry , I'm a newbie. Thank You!!!!!!!

There are 2 ways to make speed dialing easy:

1) Star your most common contacts as a favorite and then create a favorites folder on your Home Screen:

Menu > Add > New Folder > Favorite Contacts

2) Add shortcuts to your most common contacts directly to your Home Screen:

Menu > Add > Shortcuts > Direct Dial

Try "ultimate faves"...... its pretty cool app for speed dialing and app launching. search the market for it.

Try using the built in voice dial app. It will bring up a contacts info and then you press whichever phone number you want to call. I gave up on creating dial shortcuts in favor of this method. Bonus is that it works for every contact not just ones that you would have had to make a shortcut for.

i starred mine and they show up in the native phone app under the "favorites" tab
