speed dial eliminated?!

My carefully set up speed dial is gone. Called Verizon and they said they eliminated speed dial. Is this just temporary or should I just get a different phone? The stupid replacement system is way too much trouble and does not work well.

You can try and download an app from gplay that offers the functions you are looking for.
