speech app

I am running AOKP. Like all the ics roms the speech is great but when my alarm goes in the morning it says "the time is six ah m" I would like if to "six am" is there an app that can be used to change the speech.?

Well then.........maybe a guy could go into the system folder and change the language that way. Then reflash. hmmmmmm. What do you guys think?
