Speech anywhere on droid

Does anyone know if the speech anywhere feature in the nexus one will be coming to droid with the 2.1 update? Really hope it does.

Well, you speak with the microphone, so its hardware. But the feature itself comes through software. I'd say its a combination, but mostly software since almost every other phone in existence could technically offer it as well.

We already have the hardware, or you couldn't do voice searches, etc. 2.1 will give us the software to do it in text fields, as it is part of that OS.
