Sounds not loud enough

Have read quite a few people are having problems with ringing and other sound notifications
and calls they receive not being loud enough on the X, all have said sounds much too low.
Has this issue been resolved?

I don't have any problem with the sound volume on my X that was received the first week of December. And, I might add, I have been known to fire a gun without ear plugsdancedroid So, my hearing is not the best, but I don't need an aide just yet.
