Soon to be first time Droid owner...

Hello everyone! I'm finally about to jump on the bandwagon and get a Droid! My name is Devon, I'm a 20 y/o college student, surfer, addicted to music going to concerts, and driving my VW Golf...

I finally decided that I pretty much NEED a Droid. GPS, Internet, Etc.. really can't by with out it in my field. (Real Estate Photography/ Marketing work/ web/ print etc).. I'm holding out for the Bionic, was going to go with the Thunderbolt but I really can't pass up the dual core of the Bionic.

I'll probably be spending some good time on here following Bionic news..

I want to buy a droid and want your opinion on which droid phone is best is it Motorola droidx or Htc Evo G4 what you prefer most? and why?

Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you with us. Yes the Bionic sounds great with the dual core. Hopefully VZW does not bungle the release like they did the Thunderbolt.

Choosing a phone is pretty much a personal thing. I would suggest you go to verizon and check out the phones in person. Make a list of the things you may want to do with your phone then compare that to the options with each phone currently available. While at VZW you will be able to hold the phones and run some of them through their paces. Find one that feels the best to you in your hands and fits within the list of options you want. That will be the best phone for you.
