Sony Entering 'Phablet' Market with 6.44" Sony Xperia L4 'Togari'; Parts Pics Leak

It looks like Sony is definitely going to be entering the "phablet" market in a big way (and we do me that quite literally and as a pun). The device is the Sony Xperia L4, codenamed "Togari" and it will come with a massive 6.44-inch display. It will supposedly also come with some very high-end specs. Here's the scoop,

• 6.44 inch 1920x1080 IPS screen (JDI) + OptiContrast and MBE-2
• 3 GB RAM
• MSM8974 krait 800 2.3 ghz
• Adreno 330
• 32GB Internal Memory
• 13 mp Exmor RS camera
• 2 mp Full HD Exmor R front facing camera
• 3500mAh battery
• 4G LTE
• Stylus
• NFC
• IR blaster

That battery is so massive it could give the Moto Droid RAZR MAXX a run for it's money. As you can see from the pic above, the parts for the device are already in manufacturing, so we will likely see the device sometime this year. Right now there are no other details available, but it's possible we could see at the IFA expo in Berlin in the end of August. We will keep you updated.

That is a tablet, sorry, no phone should be more than 5" or 5.5" MAX.

That's bigger than my Kindle. I just so can't imagine making a phone call on my Kindle
